Glad you enjoyed the game! I like the analogy to Tetris – we’ll be updating the game very soon with more features, and one of them will make it feel even more like Tetris… a way to speed up the timer to execute the next move faster! Sort of our game’s equivalent of Tetris’s “fast drop”.

Thanks for the feedback! We’re actually planning on not only updating this release of the game to be more polished, but also releasing a full version of the game with lots more levels and mechanics!

We actually did change the direction chevrons to arrows and we think it makes it easier to tell what will happen at a glance, so stay tuned for the update that fixes that! We’re working on implementing some good sound effects that will enhance the feel of the game, as that has been easily the most common suggestion we’ve received.

What’s up, I’m the other Anticipainter dev! I just played through your whole game! Some of those levels were tough. Pretty cool concept and addictive gameplay, and I liked how the characters seemed to have their own personalities haha

Right now, it’s supposed to be extremely difficult to paint all 81 tiles, so it’s more of a high score challenge to see how many you can paint. In the full version, we’re planning on having different levels, as Cooper mentioned.

That’s a good thought about the balancing, right now the game just generates a random sequence that’s guaranteed to be possible within a certain number of moves from the player’s current position, but I didn’t really put any thought into making sure the sequences are complex enough. We’ll discuss it and maybe consider changing it in the game’s full release… (stay tuned for that!)

Yeah as Cooper said, these ideas were on the table, we just didn't have enough time to implement everything. This game is supposed to be challenging, and painting the entire maze is supposed to be extremely hard. Right now it's more of a high score game. Glad you enjoyed it though!

Really cool atmosphere, sadly I couldn't even figure out how to get past the first 5 seconds of the game

Cool game, I like how it takes a mix of platforming skill and puzzle solving! I got up though Level 8, that level was quite a challenge
